Chain Subcontract Administrator. As a member of our team , you'll
be crucial to missions of paramount importance, defining the art of
the possible from day one. This position is located in Salt Lake
City, UT. What You Will Get To Do: Job Description: Participating
in strategic sourcing decisions and developing teaming agreements
Preparing requests for proposal consistent with customer
solicitations and corporate policies and procedures Analyzing and
evaluating proposal responses, ensuring that risks and mitigation
strategies are identified Developing negotiation plans Finalizing
subcontract terms and conditions Prepare justifications and
negotiation memorandums and documenting files in preparation for
internal and external audits by applying Northrop Grumman values,
policies, procedures, and practices Serve as the primary point of
contact for international suppliers regarding contractual matters,
building and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships.
Conduct comprehensive cost and price analysis to ensure fair and
reasonable pricing for all procurements. Monitor subcontractor
performance against contract terms, milestones, and key performance
indicators (KPIs), implementing corrective actions and risk
mitigation strategies as needed. Coordinate with internal
stakeholders (e.g., Program Managers, Business Development, Legal,
Finance, Logistics, Engineering) to ensure seamless execution of
subcontracts and alignment with program objectives. Maintain
accurate, audit-ready subcontract files and documentation in
compliance with company procedures and government regulations.
Ensure smooth import/export operations by coordinating with the
international trade compliance and logistics teams and ensuring all
required documentation is processed correctly. Responsibilities
also include metrics, reporting, forecasting, and administering
subcontracts from requirements development through closeout.
Ability to collaborate with program managers and other
multi-functional teams is a must to ensure delivery of compliant
products and services within the technical parameters, cost, and
schedules required. Successful candidate will be required to make
decisions in a timely manner, multi-task, have strong interpersonal
skills, thorough knowledge of FAR/DFARs, as well as the temperament
to work in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications: Basic
Qualifications for Principal Supply Chain Subcontracts
Administrator: Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of professional
experience in Subcontracts Management or Contracts Administration;
3 years of experience with a Master’s; in lieu of degree, 9 years
of experience may be considered Experience using MS Office suite
Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance
Experience in Administering high dollar value Subcontracts
Experience in working Proposals, Captures, Acquisitions Basic
Qualifications for Sr. Principal Supply Chain Subcontracts
Administrator: Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of professional
experience in Subcontracts Management or Contracts Administration;
6 years of experience with a Master’s; in lieu of degree, 12 years
of experience may be considered Experience using MS Office suite
Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance
Experience in Administering high dollar value Subcontracts
Experience in working Proposals, Captures, Acquisitions Preferred
Qualifications for both levels: Active Secret Clearance
Demonstrated strong leadership skills as well as the ability to
multi-task in a challenging environment Professional experience in
a regulated industry; to include Aerospace & Defense SAP experience

Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,000.00 Secondary Level Salary
Range: $101,400.00 - $152,200.00 The above salary range represents
a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number
of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope
and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's
experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime,
shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base
pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions
as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees
in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long
Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety
of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and
disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid
time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business. The
