their career passions. Job Overview: The Materials Manager will be
responsible for overseeing the management of our supply chain
operations, including inventory management, transportation and
logistics. The ideal candidate possess strong organizational
skills, excellent communication abilities, attention to detail, and
a deep understanding of supply chain processes. Key
Responsibilities: - Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels
to prevent shortages or overstocking, ensuring optimal inventory
levels that meet business needs while minimizing costs -
Transportation and Logistics: Coordinate with carriers and
logistics provides to ensure efficient transportation and delivery
of goods, meeting customer expectations while minimizing costs -
Supply Chain Optimization: Analyze supply chain data to identify
opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and increased
efficiency - Manage ERP item data to keep costs up to date and work
with Engineering to support quotes and project execution - Vendor
Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with
suppliers and vendors, enduring compliance with contractual
agreements - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with
other departments, such as production, finance, and customer
service, to ensure alignment of supply chain activities with
business goals - Sourcing: Develop and implement strategic
procurement plans to ensure timely delivery of high-quality goods
and services at competitive prices Qualifications: - Miniman of 5-7
years of experience in supply chain management, preferably with
exposure to procurement, inventory management and logistics -
Proficiency in ERP systems such as Sage & D365 - Experience with
lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement
