career today. Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking to hire a
Principal Program Mission Assurance (MA) Quality Engineer to join
its team of diverse and qualified individuals. This position will
be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program
in the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) division. Northrop Grumman
supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and
deployment of hardware and system modifications for
Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne
Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated
infrastructure. Roles and Responsibilities Support MA functions to
ensure mission success through technical reviews of all program
drawings, contract, and requirements documents as required. Provide
technical solutions to a wide range of complex difficult problems.
Solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent
with organization objectives. Perform or assure quality, risk
management, safety, reliability, and maintainability of Sentinel
achievements. Assess program performance and risks and determines
resources to ensure mission assurance. Assist the Program Quality
Managers (PQM) with all Sentinel Mission Assurance/Program
Management requirements. Develop, implement, and maintain Program
Quality Plans. Assist PQM in preparation and execution on of
Program Preventive and Corrective Action Board (PCAB). Develop and
maintain Sentinel Program Metrics. Assist in the preparation of the
Program Management/Program Review packages, Audits, Partnering with
Manufacturing Engineering (ME) and Interfacing with Customer/DCMA
meetings. Support PQM with Sentinel Customer Corrective Action
Requests. Support IPT MA & QE in Conditional Acceptance
requirements and flow down. Monitor timely closure of Conditionally
Accepted hardware and work corrective actions with IPT MA & QEs.
Perform acceptance of functional and integrated test events. Basic
Qualifications Bachelor's of Science degree and 5 years of Test,
Systems Engineering, or Quality experience; or a Master's Degree
and 3 years of experience; or a PhD and 1 years of experience Must
have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at
time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to
obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a
reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its
business need Requires experience with Quality Management Systems
(AS9100, ISO 9001, or Military Quality Assurance) Requires
experience with Mission Assurance Engineering and Quality
Engineering practices Requires experience in Aerospace/Missile
Systems/Sub-Systems design, development, test, or sustainment
Preferred Qualifications Understanding of Model Based Systems
Engineering concepts Experience with PM&P Experience with
Configuration Management/Data Management Experience with
manufacturing and test quality assurance processes Experience with
Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA) and Material Review Board
(MRB) Experience quality management systems to support program
processes, audits, and improvement Experience in process
monitoring, data collection, analysis, and metrics reporting for
overall program and segments Experience with program PCAB and
driving process improvements An active U.S. Government DoD Top

schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a
nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday
off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance
package. Primary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00 The
above salary range represents a general guideline; however,
Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining
base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the
position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and
current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may
be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary
bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to
reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share
in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director
positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition,
