qualified NICU RN in Orem, Utah, 84057! Pay Information $2,111 per
week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN
Specialty: NICU Duration: 8 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per
Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: RN License
Certifications: NRP, BLS Must-Have: Must have Level 3 NICU
experience. Ventilator management of newborns. High frequency
ventilators experience. High risk delivery experience is
preferable. Description: This position is for a NICU Registered
Nurse. The unit is a Level 3 NICU with 24 beds. There are
approximately 45 staff members. Night shift coverage includes 1
charge nurse, 1 technician, and 6 to 7 RNs. Patient ratios are 1:1
for ventilator patients, 1:2 for CPAP and HF, and 1:3 for all other
patients. Equipment used includes Giraffe beds, Medfusion pumps,
and Alaris pumps. The electronic medical record system includes
Meditech and Neo Notes. Weekend requirements include 4 weekend
shifts per month with self-scheduling. Typical procedures involve
gavage feedings, PIVs, UALs, UVLs, PICCs, high frequency
ventilation, cooling babies, CPAP, high flow oxygen, and newborn
airway management. Candidates should be adaptable, team-oriented,
