Mammography Tech Location: Riverton, UT Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,786 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position Job Title: Mammography Technologist Profession: Tech Specialty: Mammography Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 10 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current Rad Tech license in the state of practice Certifications: - ARRT registration - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers - Must meet and maintain the ARRT Advanced Mammography Certification - Must meet and maintain mammography specific ACR FDA/MQSA requirements Must-Have: - Demonstrates positioning competency - Knowledgeable regarding breast self-examinations - Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pulling/Pushing, Seeing, Speaking, Standing, Walking Description: The Mammography Technologist performs radiographic mammography procedures that produce high quality diagnostic films for the detection of breast tissue abnormalities. This position requires working independently without constant supervision. The technologist performs a variety of procedures that require independent judgment, creativity, and initiative. Responsibilities include ensuring proper patient identification and order verification. The technologist prepares patients for exams and performs radiologic mammography exams per department protocol. Advanced mammography procedures such as stereotactic biopsies, clip placements, and drainages are included in this role. The technologist operates mammographic equipment to ensure high-quality diagnostic images are produced. They appropriately use equipment, maneuver the unit, and select techniques for imaging. Clienttion protection is used to ensure safety for patients and staff, maintaining all ALARA requirements. The technologist stays current on new procedures and equipment to maintain skills.
