with our long-term vision. Internship Overview Kelso Industries is
seeking motivated undergraduate students to join our Acquisition
Research Internship Program . This is an ongoing, part-time
internship during the academic year, with the opportunity to
transition to either part-time or full-time hours during the summer
based on availability and business needs. This role supports
Kelso's business development and acquisition strategy by
identifying and qualifying potential acquisition partners across
targeted geographies and industries. Interns will gain hands-on
experience in market research, pipeline development, and
early-stage M&A strategy within a fast-growing,
acquisition-focused organization. This is a strong opportunity for
students interested in private equity, corporate strategy, business
development, or mergers and acquisitions. What You'll Gain Direct
exposure to private equity and acquisition-driven growth strategy
Hands-on experience with market research and acquisition pipeline
development Practical use of enterprise tools such as Salesforce
and ZoomInfo Insight into the MEP services industry and fragmented
market dynamics Mentorship from experienced business development
and corporate leaders Networking opportunities across a national
portfolio of operating companies Intern Responsibilities Conduct
market and company research using ZoomInfo and other research tools
Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets based on
defined criteria (industry, geography, size, ownership structure,
etc.) Build, organize, and maintain prospect lists within
Salesforce Assist with early-stage outreach activities, including
email campaigns, data validation, and follow-up communications as
appropriate Prepare summary profiles and brief reports on
high-priority acquisition targets Support ongoing pipeline tracking
and reporting for the business development team Who We're Looking
For Current undergraduate students pursuing a degree in Business,
Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field Strong research,
analytical, and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and
strong organizational abilities Clear written and verbal
communication skills Ability to work both independently and
collaboratively in a professional environment Interest in private
equity, mergers & acquisitions, or corporate growth strategy
Experience with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Salesforce or CRM
systems is a plus This internship is ideal for students who want
